July is Military Consumer Month and Focused on Financial Readiness According to the 2023 Federal Trade Commission report, in 2022:
- 93,124 fraud cases were reported by military consumers ($414 million lost)
- 73,355 of these fraud cases were made by Retirees/Veterans
