Military REACH Review | June 2024 Newsletter

Researchers evaluated the Adaptive Parenting Tools (ADAPT) program, specifically whether participants experienced greater increases in effective parenting if they used the self-directed online modality or the facilitator-led modalities.

T/F: Families assigned to the self-directed online modality showed greater improvements in effective parenting than those assigned to the facilitator-led modalities.

More than a Flag: A Symbol of Hope, Bravery, Unity, and Mission

By: Haley Sherman and Kaylee Short-Smith, Graduate Research Assistants, Military REACH

In honor of Flag Day this month, a day dedicated to celebrating the creation of the American Flag, our team investigated the history and symbolism of the American and Armed Forces flags. We also connected with Service members and their families to discover the individual significance that each of the flags holds for them.

Thank you to the Auburn University Veterans Resource Center for allowing our team to take photos of the service flags for use in this piece.
