Researchers examined Veterans' experiences with behavioral healthcare services. Veterans reported their use of VA and non-VA services, barriers and facilitators for them in seeking treatment, and about their mental health symptoms.

T/F: Women Veterans were less likely than men to report using behavioral healthcare services in the past 6 months.

    Historically, Service members were required to serve for 20+ years to receive their full retirement benefits. However, only about 17% of enlisted personnel and 49% of officers serve for 20 years (Murray & Adedeji, 2020). In response, the DoD created a new retirement system so people who served less than 20 years could still receive a range of benefits.
