    The Purple Heart

    The Purple Heart has origins as the oldest active metal in the U.S. military. It's given to Service members who have been injured or killed due to an enemy attack/action. This article will review a brief history of the Purple Heart and discuss ways we can honor the ~1.8 million Purple Heart recipients.
