Biography:

Emily serves as a Research Assistant for the Military REACH team where she assists the team with a variety of tasks, such as writing research reports, tracking articles relevant to our target audiences, and adding that research into our online library. Before joining the REACH team, Emily was a Fulbright Scholar English Teaching Assistant in Aracaju, Brazil and served one year as an Americorps VISTA at the Feeding Tampa Bay food bank. She earned her bachelor’s degrees in Global Studies and English Literature from Auburn University, and has recently graduated with a dual master's in Public Administration and Nonprofit Management from the University of Central Florida. When Emily is not in the office, she loves kayaking with her husband, gardening, hiking with her dog, and listening to political podcasts.
