The Office of the Secretary of Defense requested a comprehensive literature review of community-based programs that provide assistance to victims of domestic violence (DV) in an effort to understand the national landscape with regards to assistance programs and policies. An emphasis is placed on identifying available resources for victims of DV and “best practices” of these services.
