Abstract Created by REACH
The Department of Defense seeks to utilize
evidence-based programming and resources to aid
military spouses in their pursuit of their educational
and career goals. Research suggests that a useful
strategy for assisting in career development is
facilitating work experience in the career field of
interest. Internships are a common method of
accomplishing this goal of increased work experience
in the career field of interest.
