  • Hall, C. M. (2018). Parent consultation and transitional care for military families of children with Autism: A teleconsultation implementation project. Journal of Education & Psychological Consultation, 28(3), 368-381. https://doi.org/10.1080/10474412.2018.1425879
  • Transitional stress may result for military families from frequent job relocations and residential isolation in support of military operations, especially for families who relocate overseas and may require specialized health care. For military families that have children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), remote service delivery through the internet (a term known as eHealth) has the potential to give families an outlet of support when ASD specialized treatment and care may be otherwise unavailable in their local area. This article describes the adaption of a face-to-face care model known as the Family Check-Up model into a hybrid (1) online face-to-face and (2) eHealth delivery model called TeleConsult for military families of children with ASD.
