Abstract Created by REACH
To learn about how Veterans’ needs intersect with available support services,
interviews with 16 Veterans and family members as well as focus groups with 18 service providers were
conducted in South East Queensland, Australia. Four themes emerged: health and well-being needs;
service-access barriers and facilitators; gaps in service provision; and solutions. Across the themes, findings
highlighted the similarity in provider, Veteran, and family views of service challenges and solutions.
