Biography:

Dr. Chia-Feng (Billy) Chen is the Postdoctoral Fellow of Military REACH. He holds a PhD in Human Development and Family Studies from Iowa State University, where he taught a lifespan development course for four semesters, received a Teaching Excellence Award, and obtained a Certificate in Developmental and Family Sciences Advanced Research Design and Methods. He is a family scientist with a focus on development and a methodologist who studies parenting practices and advanced quantitative methods. His research focuses on how parenting practices affect child development and adolescent well-being over time. Before joining Military REACH, Dr. Chen served as an adjunct faculty member at Florida State University.
