Dr. Carlynn Vandenberg

Biography:

Dr. Carlynn Vandenberg is a Research Associate with Military REACH. She earned her PhD in Human Development and Family Science from Auburn University in 2021. Before joining the REACH team, Dr. Vandenberg worked on an evaluation project examining the use of immersive learning technology within the Air Force's Squadron Officer School. She also has experience in higher ed, teaching courses such as lifespan development and child development at Auburn University and University of New Hampshire. In addition to her academic work, Dr. Vandenberg has enjoyed working directly with children and families in early intervention and early learning settings. Her research interests include social and emotional development in childhood and parent-child relationships.
