Military REACH Project Manager
We want to celebrate Fatemeh Jamshidi, Auburn
University Computer Science and Software Engineering
graduate student and Military REACH web developer,
for receiving the 100+ Women Strong Annual Fellowship
and J. Alley Family Graduate Student Leadership
Fellowship awards! The 100+ Women Strong Annual
Fellowship award is intended to increase the number
of women in the engineering profession. Students are
recommended by their departments, and recipients are
chosen based on their academic achievements. The J.
Alley Family Graduate Student Leadership Fellowship
award is presented to students who are recommended
by their departments and exceed expectations related
to their academic excellence, extracurricular
activities, and leadership abilities. Receiving
these two awards is an honor and achievement and
pays tribute to Fatemeh’s motivation and drive.
Fatemeh
Jamshidi is a highly valued member of
our Military REACH team and has served as a
graduate student Web Developer for the past two
years. Her primary role is to improve our
website, both visually and functionally, but
most recently, she has been instrumental in the
development of our new iOS mobile application.
Fatemeh is a problem-solver, knows where to turn
to when she needs guidance on a task, and has
advanced skills in translating technical aspects
of her work into terms that teammates without a
computer science degree can understand. These
are invaluable skills that allow her to
effectively communicate with professionals from
diverse fields and produce high-quality
products.
Fatemeh Jamshidi is an exceptional student and
highly motivated professional, and it is an
honor to have her as a member of our team. We
are proud of her and her continued
accomplishments!
